The project was to design a magazine ad for a TV show while only using one color. The show is called Not Yet Begun to Fight, and is about veterans who came home from war and are dealing with PTSD. I designed a very center heavy composition, using a strong grid and hierarchy to add further emphasis to the title and dates of the program. The photography I used was chosen not only because the subject was an amputee, which was appropriate for the show’s subject matter, but also how he stares at the viewer, further engaging them with the ad.
