Logos

Here are a selections of logos I have created for several different kinds of businesses, both real and fictitious. The Cottingham logo combines equalizer bars and a film strip to convey the business’ photo, video, and sound capabilities, and they crown the owner’s name giving the business a sense of authority. The Whittaker logo relies on a hand lettered logotype reminiscent of that artist’s signature on her paintings and makes her business feel more personal. The Sunshine Studios logo was an exercise in using only one color and its tints to create a logo. The two S’s intertwine and hold a small sun where they meet, giving the logo a sense of flow. The minimal rays give it a small sense of motion, while the tint of each S corresponds with the company name below.
